About the South East Jutland Police prosecution service

The South East Jutland Police serves the citizens of 7 local authority districts: Fredericia, Kolding, Vejle, Billund, Hedensted, Horsens, and Skanderborg.

The South East Jutland Police headquarter is located in Horsens, where the prosecution service is also located. The police force is divided into three local centers: Northern Center (Horsens), Central Center (Vejle) and Southern Center (Kolding and Billund Airport).

Like the other police districts, the South East Jutland Police prosecution service is divided into three prosecution divisions: the Prosecution Division for General Cases, the Prosecution Division for Special Cases, and the Prosecution Division for Quality and Development. The service has 35 legal consultants, around 28 administrative employees, 1 police official and around 15 student assistants. The prosecution service conducts criminal proceedings before the district courts of Horsens and Kolding.
